What does a virtual colonoscopy look like?
Here is a partial loop of the colon as seen in a virtual colonoscopy by the radiologist. In this loop, you can appreciate different findings including several polyps that are highlighted.
As mentioned previously, the radiologist goes beyond the inspection of the colon and through other images like the one shown on the right, adjacent organs are also inspected.
