Physimed’s medical laboratory provides a wide range of biochemistry, haematology, urine, coagulation, microbiology, cytology, serology, immunology, oncology and toxicology tests. Most of our laboratory tests are done routinely, allowing us to produce results within less than 24 hours.
Physimed offers an innovative service of electronic transmission of results. Consequently, every time you use the laboratory services at Physimed, all your test results are directly forwarded in your patient file. Therefore, when you need to consult your doctor, he has easily access to all your results. Furthermore, since all our lab results are stored in a digital form, it is easy for our physicians to show you in a graphic form the evolution of your results over time. This is very helpful to follow certain parameters such as the cholesterol count, the haemoglobin level, the blood sugar level, the PSA level, etc.
Please note that all our laboratory services are available to all family physicians and specialists, whether from Physimed or from outside our clinic. Therefore, if you have a prescription from a doctor who works outside Physimed, rest assured that we will forward him the results of your laboratory tests as soon as possible.
In order to accommodate as much as possible our customers, our laboratory is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. For most laboratory tests, the results are reported within less than 24 hours.
