Electronic Medical Records
At Physimed, each patient has a unique file where all medical information of the patient is found, regardless of the services consulted in our center.
As a technological leader, since 2008, Physimed is one of the few clinics in Canada where all medical records are entirely computerized, allowing the optimization of quality control of medical information of each patient. Unlike paper clinical records which are often poorly maintained, the computerized records allow for better classification and preservation of medical information, thus avoiding errors related to the management of test results or medical examinations.

- Avoids that patients end up with duplication of tests
- Allows physicians to access patient records anywhere in the world so they can manage, if necessary, urgent results
- Allows the graphic display of the patients’ results, therefore a better tracking of their progress over time (blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, etc.)
- Enables patients to access online certain parts of their records: test results, immunization records, etc. (available soon)
