If you are going on a business trip abroad, our travel health professionals are able to identify and assess your risks, depending on the destination and your health status, and to recommend the necessary immunizations and treatments.
Several international destinations present a high risk of acquiring diseases such as hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid fever, yellow fever, etc. These diseases can be prevented with vaccination. It is also important to know that some vaccines are mandatory for visiting certain countries.
Physimed’s Travel Health Clinic is accredited by the Public Health Agency of Canada for vaccination against the yellow fever. In some countries, an international certificate of vaccination against this disease may be required. During your consultation, our travel health professionals will hand you all required documents.
It is recommended to consult a health professional six to eight weeks before your departure, as some vaccines require multiple doses and your immunity begins to develop about two weeks after injection.
